FacilityONE Graphic Knowledge Management System

Alidade has been working with FacilityONE, a cloud computing firm, collaborating on solutions for industrial construction management and maintenance markets.  The initial problem that needed to be solved had to do with large construction projects.  These projects have to keep track of maintenance on OEM equipment.  Equipment often sits in the lay-up yard, a warehouse or gets installed but is not handed over to the end customer for a period of time.  These assets require maintenance to maintain warranty status. 

Alidade identified a low cost, graphical knowledge management system used primarily by facility managers.  Working with the vendor, we introduced the solution to industrial construction and maintenance & reliability professionals with excellent response.

SmartPrint Basics
Equipment is represented on a SmartPrint by an icon, which, when selected opens a Device Notebook.  The Device Notebook contains tabs of linked data; such as PM task descriptions, maintenance history, equipment manufacturer data, pictures, P&ID drawings, etc. 

Link pdf versions of technical documentation, digital pictures, receiving reports, etc. – any electronic data can be linked to the asset icons.  All linked information is interactive. 

Easily map egress routes, MSDS locations, flash hazard zones... anything  you need to express graphically can be done quickly, easily and with non-engineering personnel.
